LEE BARNES, CCIM - MANAGING DIRECTOR
Lee Barnes Jr. is the founder/Managing Director of the Woodman Group. Prior to the Woodman Group LLC Lee worked at the Garibaldi Group, CB Richard Ellis and Trammel Crow Company. He holds a Bachelors of Arts in Business Administration from Roanoke College. Lee is a licensed Real Estate Broker in New Jersey and New York with over 20 years of experience. He holds the CCIM designation which stands for Certified Commercial Investment Member, denoting completion of advanced coursework and demonstrates extensive experience in the commercial real estate industry.
Lee brings outstanding knowledge of the Northern/Central New Jersey and New York marketplaces as well as a strong work ethic to each and every assignment. In addition, having throughout his career represented tenants and landlords alike, Lee possesses invaluable insights into all aspects of the selling/buying/leasing process.
Since the inception of Lee’s commercial real estate career he has been involved with a number of transactions totaling over a million square feet including such companies as Continental Airlines, Maersk, Inc., iGate Technologies, McElroy, Deutsch, Mulvaney & Carpenter, Raich Ende Malter & Co. LLP, A.G. Edwards, Sovereign Bank, Wachovia Securities, Hooper Holmes, Normandy Real Estate Partners, and Mountain Development Corporation.
Lee is an outdoor enthusiast and his passion is Flyfishing. He is a long time Trout Unlimited member whose mission is to conserve, protect, and restore North America’s coldwater fisheries and their watersheds. He serves on the Summit YMCA Advisory Board and is a deacon at his local church. Lee currently resides in New Providence, NJ with his wife and two children, Emily and Hunter.
KATRINA PETERSON, MARKETING ASSISTANT
Katrina is a media and marketing professional who holds a BA in Studio Art and Film from Kenyon College. A New Jersey native, she enjoys marketing properties in the New Jersey and New York marketplaces. Katrina has been with Woodman Group since 2018.
In her spare time, Katrina enjoys painting, directing and editing music videos, and playing guitar. She currently resides in Brooklyn, NY.
